On November 15, 1999, the NRP Policy Board approved six goals for the second phase of the Program and created a 10-member Program Operations Work Team. The work team will be responsible for making recommendations to the Policy Board about Phase II operations.

The co-chairs of the work team are MCDA Director Steve Cramer, NRP Director Bob Miller, and City Coordinator Kathleen O'Brien. The work team will continue to meet regularly until a final Phase II implementation plan is adopted. Phase II of the NRP begins in January, 2001 and lasts until December, 2009.
