April 5, 2006 - Chose your clean-up partner---a shovel or a broom! Almost 1,000 residents of all ages from all over North Minneapolis will be grabbing their clean-up partners on Saturday, May 20th for the 2nd Annual "North Minneapolis Spring Cleaning and Greening Day".
Activities vary from planting a City of Minneapolis/TreeTrust tree, greening up gardens, and cleaning up public spaces, with celebrations to follow at some locations. Event organizers encourage individuals and groups to get out in their local neighborhoods. For more information, contact your neighborhood organization.
