Throughout the month of August, the
Minneapolis Neighborhood News (MNN) cable television program will showcase new playgrounds on the Loring Greenway and at Lyndale Farmstead Park. Both playgrounds were the beneficiaries of NRP planning and investment. Tune in and find out how the
Citizens for a Loring Park Community (CLPC) and the East Harriet Farmstead Neighborhood Association were able to use the NRP to plan and implement projects that addressed neighborhood priorities. Additional segments on the 30-minute show feature the new Pierre Bottineau Community Library and the Home Tour host recognition dinner.
Minneapolis Neighborhood News can be seen on cable in the city of Minneapolis on channel 16 on Sundays at 5 p.m., on channel 17 on Fridays at 6:30 p.m. and on channel 14 on Sundays at 4:30 p.m., Mondays at 5:30 p.m., and Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. The show is produced by John Akre of the
Minneapolis Telecommunications Network (MTN) in partnership with the NRP.
