The City Council will hold a study session on July 18 at 9:30 a.m. in the City Council chambers to discuss citizen participation and engagement. NRP's role in that system will be part of the discussion. The study session is open to the public. NRP Policy Board representatives will present the results of the recent public meetings on the NRP.

A second important discussion will occur on August 4 at 1:30 p.m. in Room 317, City Hall when the the Minneapolis City Council Community Development and Ways & Means/Budget Committee will hold a joint meeting for the purpose of conducting a public hearing to consider an amendment to the NRP Ordinance, establishing funding priorities for NRP, Phase II and related amendments.
